Patricia is an active member of Portland’s disabled community and has, for many years, advocated for disability inclusion. She currently works as the Accessibility Analyst for the Portland Police Bureau. In her previous position at Portland Community College, Patricia helped create a chapter of the Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society for Disabled students. Patricia served as a consultant on the ADA plan for Oregon Metro’s parks and nature department, as well as serving as a volunteer for the Portland Committee on Accessible Transportation, the Oregon Commission for the Blind, the Oregon Disabilities Commission, and Oregon Metro’s Committee on Racial Equity. Academically, Patricia holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a Master’s in Management and Organizational Leadership, and certifications on various subject matter areas including employment and assistive technology. She is currently working toward an ADA Coordinator National Certification.
