I moved to Medford, Oregon in 2012, drawn by the state’s strong reputation for bicycle friendliness. Since then, cycling has become an integral part of both my daily life and my family’s routine—we regularly use bikes for commuting and running errands. I'm also deeply involved in local bicycle advocacy. Since 2018, I have served as a member-at-large on the Jackson County Active Transportation Advisory Committee and as a board member and advocacy co-chair for the Siskiyou Velo Bicycle Club, working to promote safe, accessible, and sustainable transportation options in our community. Most recently, I joined the advisory committee for Medford's Transportation Safety Action Plan, which is focused on reviewing local crash data and identifying opportunities to improve the safety of all transportation network users—with the goal of achieving Vision Zero by 2050.
